Omicron Delta Kappa Circle Leader of the Year award is for exemplary service to the circle and the Samford community.

The Omicron Delta Kappa Freshman Leadership Award is given to a male and female student who show exemplary character leadership, service and scholarship during their first year at Samford.

This award is given to two undergraduate students who excel in all areas of student life: civic, social, spiritual and physical. This scholarship is inspired by the example of Christ in Luke 2:52: "And Jesus increased in wisdom and in years, and in divine and human favor."

Rufus W. Shelton Award goes to the male student who has done the most for betterment of life at Samford.

Service Award is presented to the senior who best exemplifies the highest qualities of social service.

The Gail Hyle Memorial Award is presented to the woman in the graduating class who best exemplifies Christian character, leadership, school spirit and service.

The James M. Sizemore was established by Margaret Davidson Sizemore in memory of her husband. The award is presented annually to a person in the senior class who has best demonstrated character, personality, scholarship and unselfish service to Samford University

AAJ's mock trial cases are always civil cases and deal with products liability, personal injury or medical malpractice/negligence issues. Teams are judged on their skills in case preparation, opening statements, use of facts, the examination of lay and expert witnesses, and closing arguments.
