Samford University inducted 30 new members to Omicron Delta Kappa national leadership honor society. Omicron Delta Kappa recognizes and encourages superior leadership and exemplary character, and encourages collaboration among members across five phases: scholarship, athletics, service, communications and arts.

The following students have been inducted into Samford University's chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta (ALD) freshman honor society. The society honors Samford freshmen in the top 20 percent of their class with grade point averages of 3.75 on a 4.00 system.

Several area residents have been inducted into the Samford University chapter of Theta Alpha Kappa national honor society for religious studies. Inductees must have completed at least 12 credit hours in religious studies courses with a minimum 3.5 grade point average and must rank in the top 35 percent of their class in overall scholarship.
